Chris Rudd (ABC) ‘Freckenham Flower Big Wheel'.

Talbot Early Boar Horse. The boar was introduced as a key element on the units, with ladder-like exergues, but the style is a continuation of Irstead. The denominational period started with higher purity gold (after the debasement of the Wolf B) and is stylistically linked to early local period silver, with Early Boar Horse following Irstead. Struck at Mint A, which was responsible for most gold and used the most dies, characterised by a horse with an open head. The Early Boar Horse stater is associated with the Freckenham Boar unit and Antlers half.
