Narasimhagupta Baladitya was a prominent ruler of the Gupta Empire, known for his military prowess and administrative capabilities, and is recognized for expanding the empire's territories and consolidating power in northern India, often attributed with bringing stability and encouraging cultural growth. His reign at the start was marked by tribute payments to Mihirakula while it ended after the combined Gupta-Aulikara defeat of the very same Huns (and their banishment to Kashmir).
