Comments

NOTE:

1952 variety is catalogued by Krause as standard coin, but Hernández and Restrepo list it as pattern.

The mintage shows too high for a pattern, but also the difference of quantity to 1953 is noticeable (nearly 4000 on 1952 and nearly 18 million on 1953).

So far, we don't have samples or images of the 1952 coin to compare and try to determine if is a pattern or not; so we are performing an investigation on this issue.

If someone may add information, this will be welcome. Please contact referee of the issuer.
