This coin is referred to as ‘Gouden Dukaat’ in Dutch.

 

The coin mentions Dieren as the place of mintage. Nonetheless this town had rights to produce coinage, it never did. The coins which bear the name of Dieren were actually produced in Harderwijk or Bergh.
