Struck for Chandernagor, but with mint name Murshidabad on the coin, distinguished by the style of the 5-petal flower to right of the regnal year.
It is reported that the Governer of Chandernagar, Mr Dupleix, obtained coining rights in 1738 and struck rupees, halves and quarters dated 1151/21 and 1152/22
