The Royal Australian Mint & Australia Post have collaborated to issue this coloured $2 coin. It has been issued in a number of ways.
The coin is Commemorating the Australian Open Women's Tennis Tournament held in Melbourne from 6th January to 26th January 2025.
Australia Post are issuing it in change without the Envelope Privymark to customers that make a purchase in cash.
Australia Post are selling the coin in a coincard with an Envelope Privymark for $12 each. (See example below)
The RAM are also selling the coin in a coincard with an Envelope Privymark for $12 each. (See example below)
Australia Post are also issuing the coin without the Envelope Privymark in a PNC for $27 each.
Customers purchasing the coin in the coincard with the Envelope Privymark also have a 1 in 10 chance to get a Special Yellow/Fluoro version of the coin (See link to page for that coin).
The coins are all sealed in this folder so you can't tell what you have got until the seal is broken.
