27th Aureus Magnus series designed by Werner Graul commemorating death of Pope Pius XII. Variants exist in 1, 2½, 5, 10, 20 and 30 ducats denominations. Silver variants exist in 1 and 3 argenteus denominations. 20 ducats reverse differs from lower denomination variants.
Graul designed a series of gold medals (ducats) which he called Aureus Magnus between 1955 and 1982.
