Gustaaf Paul Robert Magnel was a Belgian civil engineer and professor at Ghent University, born in Essen (Belgium) on September 15, 1889, and died in Ghent on July 5, 1955 (aged 65).
He is known as an expert in reinforced and prestressed concrete.
