The series was distributed by Investors Guaranty Corporation L.L.C. (IGC-LLC) (USA).
The issue of gold coins of this series was made in violation of the legislation of the Republic of Belarus, under the contract of commercial The Savings Bank of Belarus and IGC LLC (USA) in April 1995. The first coins were imported to Belarus in May 1995.
Nevertheless, the issue was legalized through a joint Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus
and the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus dated 06/02/1995 No. 283/7 "On the issuance of coins made of precious metals in 1995".
The Savings Bank of Belarus and Belagroprombank took part in the distribution the issue.
The National Bank of the Republic of Belarus did not participate in the issue and its distribution: the design of the coins was not confirmed, the "coins" were imported into the territory of Belarus as a commodity with both customs duty and VAT paid, the issue was not taken into account as part of the money supply.
The quality of the coins did not meet the stated requirements, probably "technical" gold was used.
In April 1996, the legal status of the coins was canceled by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus and the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus dated 30.04.1996 No. 292/2 "On Invalidation of Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus and the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus dated 06/02/1995 No. 283/7".
