Comments

Issued to commemorate the first anniversary of the Dominion elections of Canada on Sept. 21, 1911. The 1911 election was won by Robert Borden's Conservatives. They rejected the treaty signed by Wilfred Laurier and President Taft in January 1911 fearing that it would lead to an American take-over of Canada.
