This coin was also sold separately but its certificate states that 5,000 sets were produced, where this coin is presented together with the Cape Verde Tordesilhas coin. The certificate of the separate coin and the set is the same and references both presentations.

500th Anniversary of the Treaty of Tordesillas, Spain (7th June 1494). Divided the new world between the Portugal and the Spain, along a meridian 370 leagues west of Cape Verde. About halfway between Cape Verde and Cipangu and Antilia (Cuba and Hispaniola), the islands entered by Christopher Columbus on his first voyage (claimed for Castile and León).
