Comments

In French texts this coin is referred to as 1/5 Écu.
The catalog references are those of the host coin.

The counter mark A13.1 is a coat of arms of Holland in a pearled oval. In years 1573/74 it was, after payment, struck on local and foreign coins with a higher value than 3.5 Stiver, which resulted in an increase of value by 15%. The mark could have several locations, like the neck or the chin.
