Obverse

The ticket features a view of Marksburg Castle, the only fort overlooking the Rhine that has never been destroyed. It has survived for more than seven centuries and presents a unique example of a dwelling which grew and evolved with military architecture and which also saw non-residential (prison) use during the 19th century. Also on the ticket are the name of the association responsible for its maintenance and the logo.
