Comments

The old city of Panamá was founded in 1519 and destroyed by Henry Morgan in 1671. The town was rebuilt on a close site easier to defend.

Since its separation from Colombia in 1903, Panama has used the United States Dollar. These coins have the same specifications as the United States Quarter and circulates alongside it.
