Reverse

The reverse design by Canadian artist Joel Kimmel features two hockey players representing Team Canada in the 1972 Canada-U.S.S.R. Summit Series. Set against the team jersey’s iconic maple leaf, the hockey players are accompanied by the words “THE SERIES LA SÉRIE” and “50 YEARS ANS”. On the outer ring, the coaches’ initials and the players’ jersey numbers surround the inner core to represent the spirit of Team Canada.
