Comments

In 2020, intended to coincide with the launch of the new James Bond 007 movie No Time to Die, the Royal Mint released a Limited Special Issue James Bond 007 Aston Martin DB5 £500 Five Hundred Pound Gold Proof Coin struck in solid 999.9 fine gold weighing five ounces of pure gold. As it turned out, the movie launch was actually delayed due to the international Covid-19 pandemic.

Note - this piedfort has a different number plate on the car to the proof version.

The coin was also struck in a variety of denominations and metals including copper-nickel, silver proof and gold proof.

Issue Limit: 64
