Local Spanish Civil War banknotes: Created by municipalities, cooperatives, unions and other organizations due to the scarcity of fiduciary currency in small purchases and exchanges during the Spanish Civil War.
Municipality: Llevantí de Mar (Current name: Calonge i Sant Antoni) - Province: Girona - Autonomous community: Catalonia
NOTE: During the Spanish Civil War, it was an independent municipality, by decree of the Generalitat de Catalunya, which made some changes in place names, and became known as Sant Antoni de Mar and Llevantí de Mar. In 1939 it was annexed unilaterally by the Francoist city council of Calonge, forming the current municipality of Calonge and Sant Antoni.
