This token was included in the Royal Australian Mints Baby Mint six coin set, in the three years from 1995 to 1997. It was not included in the 1993 or 1994 Gumnut Sets.
The idea was that you could get a baby's name and birth date engraved on the blank side of the token as a keepsake.
The Gumnut Babies are characters in May Gibbs series of children's books.
