Depiction of Robert Schuman reading the text of his declaration of May 9, 1950. In the upper part of the coin, a monogram intertwining the initials "RF" and the face value "100 EURO". Below the face value, within a circle of 850‰ Blue Gold and surrounded by twelve stars, the inscription "9 Mai". Above, the common issues hallmark. At the bottom of the coin, the inscription "EUROPE DAY".
