Law of 23.01.1926 Older National Bank 50-1 000 Drachmai notes were cut with the left hand portion 3/4 of the width, leaving the right hand portion 1/4 in width. Later on, the large left portion were exchanged at 3/4 of original face value and at 1/4 of the 3/4 face value for debentures of compulsory loan. The smaller 1/4 pieces were also exchanged for debentures.
