Fraternity
Fraternity is absent from the 1789 Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen. It first appeared in the texts of November 1848, then in the Constitutions of 1946 and 1958.
The notion refers to solidarity (social aid, for example) and "living together" (tolerance, respect for others).
For a long time, fraternity was considered a simple moral value, unlike the principles of liberty and equality.
