Obverse

A brown frame decorated with abstract shapes in which the "100" values are presented. Multicolour printing known as "rainbow printing". Each banknote has a seven-digit serial number, accompanied by a 2- or 3-letter prefix. The number on the left is printed in red while the number on the right is printed in blue.On the left is an illustration of the "Coat of Arms of Canada" and on the right is a portrait in costume of Sir Robert Laird Borden, statesman. He was the 8th Prime Minister of Canada from October 10, 1911 to July 10, 1920.
