Struck using the three-part broken ferrule technique. No scroll. The strike, of insufficient strength for this metal, only partially marked the legend, which is incomplete on both sides. The example shown bears the number 7 in ink. The legend is embossed in the center, and recessed on the crown. The word "ESSAI" above the faceplate. 10-centime blank.
