The vast majority of the mint was recast to participate in the war effort. It can be estimated that less than 100 examples of this type remain.

Most of the 1914 10 centimes were struck in nickel silver. Only three specimens are known on nickel blank (thus magnetic). These tests of burnished blank aspect, are struck with new corners.
