Comments

The Maurice Farman MF.7 Longhorn is a French biplane developed before World War I which was used for reconnaissance by both the French and British air services in the early stages of the war before being relegated to service as a trainer.
The Maurice Farman MF.7 was adopted by the Spanish Military Aeronautics in 1913, the first six arriving in Cuatro Vientos in spring. Four of them went with the first squad to Tetouan in October. At the end of the year two or three MF.7 passed to Arcilla. It was an easy plane to fly, and very soon it was used as a training plane in Cuatro Vientos and Alcalá. There was also an MF-7 squadron in Guadalajara since 1916, because in addition to those received from France (about twelve), it was manufactured in Zaragoza by Carde and Escoriaza.
