Comments

The Medal is dedicated to the invasion of American cruiser in the extended territorial waters of the USSR, in the Crimea, February 12, 1988. The ship intentionally rammed the American missile cruiser USS Yorktown in Soviet territorial waters while Yorktown was claiming innocent passage in what were recognised international waters.
