The official Kazakhstan Bank's mint PROOF set 1993 exists, including 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 tyin 1993

Krause catalogue, probably by mistake, lists two types of this coin: KM 2 (brass plated zinc) and KM 2a (copper plated zinc). However, the official sources from Kazakhstan, as well as Schön catalogue mention only one type of the coin, made from brass.
Some coins are yellow while others are red. This difference is due to an alteration of the colour of the outside layer of the coin over time.
