Comments

Made on the silver mines. Mold made to take exactly the same silver weight as an 8 Real coin. The word "Peso" used for the Mexican currency since the Republic is exactly derived of this practice, where weight (peso) determined the value of a coin due to its precious metal. So this isn't a "Peso" but a piece of silver with the peso (weight) of an 8 Reales coin.
