In 755, a revolt resulted in the City of Luozhou (the capital), being taken. The Great Yan State was formed, lasting from 756 to 763, when it was finally extinguished.
The title Deyi also means "to last one year", which was thought to be a bad omen, so in 759, the title was changed to Shuntian (the first era name of Shi Siming).
