Comments

1863 R.T. Kelly New York, NY Struck Over An 1859 Indian Cent Fuld-NY630AN-1do. R.8. The design and lettering of the host copper-nickel cent is easily visible under the Civil War token strike with no evidence of filing or other planchet preparation marks. This piece is a prime example of an overstruck cent for a type set of Civil War tokens and the pictured high hat adds visual interest to this scarce token. (PCGS# 667130)
