This coin is now part of the NOVO BANCO collection
Some authors defend that they were minted in Elvas and not in Évora.
There is also the hypothesis, which seems more plausible to us, that it was an emergency coinage from Lisbon, taking advantage of the João IV reverse dies, from the recently extinct Mint of Évora .
