Comments

The leaping bock (Capra ibex) on a white field was the heraldic flag of the counts of Raetia. Raetia was a province of the Roman Empire, named after the Raetian people. Chur was once a Roman fortified camp, Curia Raetorum in Latin, and became the capital of Raetia Prima in 15 BC.
