Medal, 5736-1975

Advanced technology and improved living standards have made it possible for man to pay attention to other pursuits besides working for a living. In Israel, there are thousands of hobbyists who present their products during the Annual Hobby Exhibition, an event which commenced in 1959. Some two hundred hobbyists participated in the 1975 show, displaying a high degree of professional and artistic skills, from painting, sculpting, copper smithing, jewelry, modeling to products fashioned out of string and matches, stamp and coin collections, etc.
