Magic City is a vast amusement park built in 1911 in the 7th arrondissement, offering a wide range of activities and a large ballroom. Dancing took place every evening from 9 a.m. to midnight, and in the mornings on Sundays and public holidays. In 1928, the complex was halved, but the ballroom was preserved. After 1944, the ballroom survived without a flourish, finally disappearing around 1947.
