Pirate tokens from the "Pepsodent Treasure Hunt" promotional inserts were available in 1971 Pepsodent toothpaste at stores in Canada. Six different base-metal pirate tokens were issued; Cob Doubloon, Spanish Cob, Spanish Doubloon, Mexican Piece of 8, Pistole and Four Bits. In addition 30,000 coins were stamped Prize Coin and had cash prize values of $1, $10, $100 and $1,000. This coin is the $1 Prize Coin.
