Comments

The Cerro Rico in the city of Potosí was the most important silver mountain of the American Continent, during colonial times millions of tons of silver were shipped to Europe. Since the silver was carried to end around 1800 there were and still are mined other metals like tin and lead.

Note: Bolivia authorized a maximum mintage of 50,000 pieces, but only 20,000 were finally minted.
