Comments

The Royal Australian Mint issued this partially pad printed version of the standard definitive "Mob of Roos" $1 coin in a special commemorative coin card to commemorate 30 years since the introduction of the MOR $1 coin in 1984.

Three of the five Kangaroos are pad printed in shades of brown. The coin is made out of Copper Nickel instead of the usual Aluminium Bronze. (The $1 Proof coin in the 2014 Year Proof Set was also made from Copper-Nickel instead of the usual Aluminium-Bronze but was Gold Plated rather than Pad Printed.)

An aluminium-bronze version of this coin was also released in the Year UNC Set. (See Link below)
